Nos conocimos en diciembre de 2003, un amigo mutuo nos unió para formar una banda de covers y tocar en un café del norte de Bogotá, pero la afinidad musical, nuestro amor por el rock y la quÃmica entre los dos hizo que esta unión trascendiera y surgiera Apsara.Durante dos años se dio un proceso de composición donde las canciones que habÃan salido de una guitarra acústica solitaria, iban desarrollando personalidad y vuelo propios haciéndolas historias diferentes, explorando ambientes y creando sonidos muy caracterÃsticos mediante los instrumentos básicos del rock y de la tecnologÃa de nuestros dÃas. Fue asà como grabamos lo que hoy es Del Dolor y Otros Demonios, nuestro disco debut, después de incontables noches en vela.Una de las cosas que nos une son nuestras influencias musicales, ya que ambos amamos el metal, que es de donde venimos, pero a través de nuestras vidas desde muy pequeños apreciábamos de igual manera el pop y el rock del mundo. Creemos que esa mezcla extraña es parte de lo que queremos aportar a la música.

We met in December 2003, a mutual friend put us together to form a cover band to play at a cafe here in Bogotá, but the musical affinity, our love for rock'n'roll and this magic chemistry between us made the thing to transcend into Apsara.We spend two years composing, where all the songs that came from just an acoustic guitar suddenly developed their own personality making them a different story from the others. We explored different moods and built the sound mixing straight rock stuff with todays sounds. Then, that's when we recorded what is called "About Pain and Other Demons", our debut album after countless sleepless nights.One thing we have in common is our musical influences, we both love metal, that's where we come from, but at the same time we spent all of our lives listening to world's rock and pup music. We believe this weird mix is part of what we want to show in our music.
