Daniele Nova releases his first Album in Italy (through JungleSoundDischi/ Universal Music Italy) in 2004, with both critic and media success.
He's been a young talented songwriter/singer since he was a child, that's why many great names of the Italian scene show interest to him. In fact, the first album is directly produced by Fabrizio Barbacci (Negrita + Ligabue), responsible for a mix of Brit Pop-oriented sound and Italian modern touch.
The 'Cielo mio, Cielo tuo' single gets immediately a heavy rotation broadcasting on MTV Italy [http://www.mtv.it/music/archivio/newsitehome.asp?ID=40961],
while many other Networks, Radio stations, and music channels (Allmusic, Deejaytv, Match Music, Rock Tv) decide to support his music.
The press reaction is cool, and even MTV International Website reviewed the album with enthusiasm: "Daniele Nova is a spankin' new Italian pop-rock superstar! His style is truly unique as he puts an Italian twist on the highly common Britpop. His first album Cielo mio, cielo tuo is now being featured on mtv.it. Stop by and check out what all the hype is about."
So, he starts touring with his band around Italy, thanks to the Italian Booking Agency 'BARLEY ARTS'.
Daniele soon becomes the opening act for many famous Italian artists (such as Negrita, Negramaro), and for the british band The Servant. At the moment, D NOVA is working on new material for a next album. The music direction is getting rocker and electro: many '80s influences (Depeche Mode, The Cure), and also recent Placebo, Killers, JJ72, The Smashing Pumpkins. This is due to the combination of his old music tastes with the latest electro listenings. Stay tuned.
