You cannot possibly haven..t heard those words on the radio, and for good reason, since the beginning of the year, the song Humdrum Street has been adopted by most of the Belgian radio stations ( from Pure FM and Studio Brussel to VivaCit.. and Radio1) and now MCM and PLUG TV have followed suit with the video.Behind this pop missile, there is a top-flight songwriter.
Arker is his name. This solo artist is as eclectic as he is innovative.Last May Arker was the support act for Feeder at L..Ancienne Belgique and for The Delays in La Rotonde, Botanique.
As for the festivals, they followed another from Suikerrock, to Nandrin, Euritmix and Wardin.Arker..s songs could be defined as various frames of mind along with heady and stirring tunes. The whole lot is well put together thanks to a modern and effective production on a record that gives a selection of atmospheres more than its due.Arker, it..s also a voice, a moving and confused voice.On stage, alone or with a band, Arker tells his stories.
