About Me

Layout made bySo many things are of interest to me. I enjoy trying to figure out the'why'--what makes people believe as they do--or act a certain way. Iabhore religion and embrace spirituality. I've studied graphology, iridology, and am an herbalist. I can also operate a reach-truck,order-picker, ele. pallet-jack, forklift--*grin*! I've held management positions in prior jobs and am burned out with the politics of it all. At thepresent I am homeschooling my sons. My goal is to become an RN within the next few years. Friends describe me as an extrovert, yet I know myself to be more of anintrovert. I am a bit of an enigma, adork, comedian, caring friend, nit-wit,am moody, a bit arrogant, irrational, rational person that can be best described asindescribable. I am hard to get to know. I have a big heart, yet I guard it well. I don't believein living in the past and blaming others for my mistakes. I want tosave the world and know how idealistic a dream that is. I play naivewell. Obviously, I am hard to figure out--and it takes time to try--butI hope deep down my friends feel it was worth it. I'm someone I'd want to know. My friends become family. Family is the most important thing and focus in my life.

My Interests

~My best friend (moonviolette) sent me this video and has it on her page. I love it completely, so I must add it here~Currently Reading: Raven Hart's The Vampire's Seduction (setting in Savannah,Ga.--it's so beautiful there & the "most haunted city in the US." ) & then it will be Robert McCammon's The Queen of Bedlam. Also reading: The Gnostic Bible (just a little every night)~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ “"What sets worlds in motion is the interplay of differences, their attractions and repulsions.Life is plurality, death is uniformity.By suppressing differences and pecularities, by eliminating different civilizations and cultures, progress weakens life and favors death. The ideal of a single civilization for everyone, implicit in the cult of progress and technique, impoverishes and mutilates us.Every view of the world that becomes extinct, every culture that disappears, diminishes a possibility of life"”~Octavio Paz~I enjoy art--in all it's various forms~

Music:

"Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and charm and gaiety to life and to everything."--PLATO ............................................................ ..................................
Fragile (lyrics by Sting): If blood will flow when flesh and steel are one Drying in the color of the evening sun. Tomorrow's rain will wash the stains away But something in our minds will always stay.Perhaps this final act was meant To clinch a lifetime's argument That nothing comes from violence and nothing ever could. For all those born beneath an angry star Lest we forget how fragile we are.On and on the rain will fall Like tears from a star like tears from a star. On and on the rain will say How fragile we are How fragile we are My taste in music is best described as eclectic--those close to me can predict the mood I'm in based on the music I'm listening to. I love music with profound meaning attached to it as well as what has a great beat or sound that inspires me. That's what it boils down to--what inspires me.
