Some flattering words from Brock Devlin (promoter):
"The Midday Fiasco may very well be the future of Sydney rock. Being able to swing between punk and rock with ease and never failing to deliver when playing live. They are one of few bands who have a clear identity and know where they are going. Seeing this band from their infancy through to where they are at now is very satisfying knowing i have helped a young band start to make their mark around Sydney. Having a sound that can fit onto any kind of bill gives this band a huge advantage, not to mention all members being more then capable of playing extremely technical parts while still being able to put on a good show for the crowd who is watching. They also have the luck of having perhaps one of Sydney's best young drummers behind the skins. As someone who has booked this band numerous times it makes me extremely happy to hear where they are and see where they are going. The Midday Fiasco are far from being a flash in the pan..."
And our friend Brendan Kennedy (Sniperival):
"Okay so the first time I saw these guys was at the vic on the park in enmore. I thought they looked kinda funny, but they opened the show pretty confidently (especially considering there weren't that many people watching them), and they were good fun to watch. A tough act to follow. The next time I saw them, they played to a pretty packed Lansdowne Hotel, and despite some technical difficulties and a broken string or two - they put on an extremely memorable show. I didn't remember them being this good! I dunno if they'd written some new songs or what, but I was blown away. Great stage presence, really tight set, and good, technical instrumental work. Vocals were spot on too.So they'd come a long way in just a short period of time, maybe 4 months or so. They're all top fella's as well, and always willing to lend a hand where they can. A great band to be on a bill with..."
