Back in tha day when I was a teenager - before I had status and before I had a pager... Grew up in the dirty dirty right down the street from a little old place called Moe's and Joes. Went to one of the city of Atlanta's best inner city schools and wouldn't trade a single minute of it. Spent a little bit of time on the other side of the pond where I perfected the language of love. Although I loved riding horses on wednesday afternoons the States beckoned. Came back and went to Ga Tech. Got a job with a French company (pour pratiquer mon francais, bien sur...) and moved to Chicago. Notice I say that I moved there and not that I lived there. This is an important distinction. I had the distinct pleasure of becoming a landlord in a transitional neighborhood (Stay Down Humboldt Park.) I travel quite a bit so I can't tell you much about the windy city (I can tell you how it got its nickname but you'll have to ask me) After a couple of REALLY cold winter in the Midwest I decided to get back to the right coast and moved to NYC. Same company - smaller apartment. The city is great but it's the only one I know of that will make you feel very rich and very poor at the same time. Eastpoint and I'm out. Cheers.
