Me Against The World.

About Me

Elite was born Emmanuel Francisco Hall on October 13,1987 in the East Flatbush section of Brooklyn. Elite is one half trinidadian and one half panamanian and is considered a miracle baby after the doctors told his parents they couldn't have a child. His first grade teacher said that his writing style was similar to that of Langston Hughes. He attended public school for most of his life from first grade to fifth grade at P.S. 235 and the Annex of P.S. 235 where he learned the importance of his heritage. He then attended the private school L.E.S. in Bayridge where he encountered alot of racism being one of the few black children in the entire school. In his junior high school year he was able to come into third place of the districts school spelling bee. He also won the most awards in his class during his eighth grade graduation including: The spanish award; safety award; religion award; the president's award for educational excellence; music award;literature award and a plaque for The Christian Citizenship Award. Elite then got a opportunity to do something most people dont get to do. In 2001, Elite rapped for the legendary hip hop/rap producer Dr.Dre. Dr. Dre was so impressed that he told Elite that he could come on tour and that the rap game needed a young rapper. Dr. Dre also told Elite and to keep writing. Elite then began his high school years in M.E.H.S. in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn. During Elite's freshman year of highschool, he attended the Nkiru center in Brooklyn. This center was founded by Mos Def and Talib Kweli. At Nkiru, Elite put on a great performance when he spontaneously rapped with a West Coast beatboxer. He also met The Last Poets and was told he had a great command over vocabulary. In Elite's sophmore year of high school he was a writer for his school newspaper and he ran for the position of Junior Representive and won. In his junior year he created the first ever Black Day and the first ever Double Dutch competition in his school's history. These days were so legendary that junior reps after him still use these days. His favorite high school teacher once called him the school's greatest rep. of all time. Elite was also accepted into Morehouse College and was reportely the first and only M.E.H.S. student to do so in 2005. Also in his senior year of high school, Elite rapped in his school's Spring Fling event with no beat and put on what most would call the best performance of the year and shouted out Flatbush in his rhymes. His school was so overwhelmed by his performance they talked about the event for a week straight. In his senior year Elite was voted Friendliest and Most Likely to Succeed. Elite's passion to represent East Flatbush is well documented. In his alumni yearbook his quote was "East Flatbush". On the back of Elite's high school jersey was: E. Flatbush meaning East Flatbush. Elite also appeared on B-Cat numerous times rapping and in each of his raps he shouted out East Flatbush. He also has a great music background having played the piano, guitar and the saxophone. On December 30 2007, Elite released the highly anticipated single The Hustler's Anthem which has gotten great reviews by fans and Xclusive Radio 97.5 FM and 105.5. Xclusive Radio 97.5 FM has played both Sweet Lady and The Hustler's Anthem by, and continues to play The Hustler's Anthem on a regular basis.
