We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant

About Me

What can I say? I don't get out as much as I should. My life is pretty boring. I have a daughter. I don't get to see her as often as I would like. My idea of a good time is having some friends over and drinking some beer, playing some Halo or watching a movie. That or reading a book (Yes I read. Shocking isn't it? Most people where I live just wait for the movie to come out.) Anyway, I'm a shy guy, but I'm trying like hell to get over it. I have a shitty job, but some days are better than others and what the hell, it's a paycheck right? I believe that all knowledge is lies, that everything that human beings think that they know about the universe is bullshit. I believe that we go through life as ignorant fools, blinded to the fate that destiny has in store for us. If you want to get to know me better, by all means leave a message.I pimped my profile at freemyspacedesign.com , check out these Free Layouts, Graphics, and Generators

My Interests

Video games (I love Halo! KOTOR rocks! X-Box junkie, that's me.), books/ reading, comic books (Yes, I still like comic books. I'm a fucking nerd and proud of it!) movies, taking walks, goofing off on the computer, writing

I'd like to meet:

Anyone really. I'd like to think I can make friends with anyone. No assholes. Eminem. Frank Miller. Kevin Smith.

Music:

Three Days Grace, Metallica, Alice In Chains, Godsmack, Pappa Roach, Nirvana, The Offspring, CKY, Led Zeppelin, Nickelback, Ozzy Osborne, AC/DC, System of a Down, GREEN DAY, The Beatles, Guns 'N Roses, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, The Rolling Stones, Eminem, Dr. Dre, and much more. Except country music. I can't stand country music.

Movies:

Some of my favorites include: Trainspotting, Scarface, The Usual Suspects, the Pirates of the Caribbean movies (because its just good fun), Lord of the Rings trilogy, Pulp Fiction, Sin City, The Godfather part I & II, the Star Wars Trilogy (the original, not the prequels, cause they SUCKED), X-Men and X2 (I'm a Bryan Singer fan), the ORIGINAL Matrix, most of Kevin Smith's stuff (Clerks and Clerks II are the best), Heavy Metal (the animated movie from the '80's), anything Monty Python, and lot of crap you've probable never even heard of .

Television:

I liked Futurama ('till those bastards at Fox cancelled it), Robot Chicken, The Dresden Files (I like alot of sci-fi), Doctor Who, Miami Ink, Mythbusters, and X-Play.

Super Mario GTA

Books:

Oh god, where do I start. Let's see: Anything by Stephen King, Neil Gaiman, Terry Pratchett (Discworld Rocks!), Jasper Fforde, Ray Bradbury, George Orwell (1984 is a personal favorite), Robert A. Heinlein, J.R.R. Tolkien, Michael Connelly, John Steinback, James Alan Gardner, Michael Crichton, H.G. Wells, Edgar Allen Poe, and recently I've started reading H.P. Lovecraft, Philip K. Dick (some short stories) and Susanna Clarke (Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell was very good). Books wise: The Catcher in the Rye, Fahrenheit 451, A Brave New World, 1984, The Stand, American Gods, The Dark Tower books (although Volume 7 was a bit of a let down), The Last Coyote, and The Past Through Tomorrow are some of my favorites.

Heroes:

Tony Montana, because he stood up and did what he had to do to get what he wanted. Han Solo, because he got the girl, even though he wasn't the hero. Tony Hawk, you gotta respect a man who gets paid millions of dollars a year to do what he loves. And Hugh Hefner, I wanna be him when I grow up. 70 and surrounded by 20 year-olds.
