About Me

Born in the UK, raised in Vancouver, with roots reaching back to Barbados, Adrian Holmes was bitten by the acting bug at a very early age. A theater school graduate, this intense leading man started out in many stage productions such as: The Wizard of Oz, L'il Abner, West Side Story, and City of Angels. Though it was in 1991 that he made his television debut on the family series Neon Rider. Throughout his career, Adrian has had the privilege of working with some notable names in Hollywood such as the legendary Al Pacino, Hank Azaria, Vivica A. Fox, Peter Falk, Jean Claude Van Damme, Edward James Olmos, and Ray Liotta to name a few. He recently wrapped up work on the film "Damage" with former WWE wrestling superstar, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. Adrian plays Ray Sharp, a manager for fighters in an underground Fight Club. Though he is most excited to have worked opposite the sexiest woman alive, Ms. Halle Berry, in the upcoming film "Frankie and Alice". Adrian plays Clifton, the DJ in the club in which she dances, and who is also her love interest. He is not only honored to have worked with Ms. Berry but to also be a part of such an incredible film. It's based on a true story set in 1973, that follows a young woman (Halle Berry) struggling with multiple personality disorder and torn between who she is and a racist Caucasian alter-personality that preys upon her mind. This is a sad and very important subject and what could also be another Oscar nod for Ms. Berry. Some TV credits include Smallville, Supernatural, Stargate SG-1, BattleStar Galactica, and the mini series "The Andromeda Strain" opposite Benjamin Bratt, Erik McCormack and Academy Award nominee Viola Davis. Adrian can also be seen in the the Second Season of the Showcase series "Exes and Oh's". He plays former Green Bay Packer running-back, Barry Davis, the new owner of Sams Bar.Adrians' success also continues with Voice-over work for a variety of animated shows, video games and commercials. He can be heard in Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Hot Wheels Acceleracers, The Black Lagoon but his more recent credits include, Bratz, The Sushi Pack, and A Kind of Magic. He can also be heard as Bo in EAs "Def Jam Fight for New York" video game.In 2004, Adrian received a LEO Award Nomination for Best Guest Star Performance for his portrayal of bad boy rapper, Core-D, in the television series The Collector. In 2006, he played Omar in John Patrick Shanleys' stage play, 'The Big Funk'. This was a high note for Adrian as it marked his return to the stage in over ten years. He sees the stage as acting in its purest and rawest form.Adrian feels truly blessed to be able to express himself through this art form. He sees it as a powerful medium that inspires others to not live in fear but to believe so they too can achieve. Adrians' motto: Walk by Faith, not by Sight!Nothing better than family and good friends. Positive minds and happy hearts!
