About Me

Starting at the tender age of 10, the lifelong pursuit of the guitar began. I still remember that first boyhood band... My nextdoor neighbor Kevin had just gotten a cool new thing, a real Gibson Les Paul.. Man, it was way cooler then the steel wheeled skinny skateboards that we used to tear up our tuffskin pants. It looked just like Jimmy Page's or Ace Frehley's axe. Before too long I was saving money for my first electric geetar! Boy howdy an Aria Pro II Les Paul Goldtop! Then came that fatefull day when Kevin, Mitch and I all had our guitars plugged into a little 5 watt Fender champ playing "Cat Scratch Fever". That was just too much for the practice amp as we had to use two radi@ sh@ck Y splitters to get the job done. Mitch and I plugged into one Y splitter which inturned plugged into the open slot on the first Y splitter while Kevin used the only remaining open input for his Les Paul. So, all three of us are banging away on that poor little amp. That Fender Champ from the 50's tried its best to accomodate three teenage boys dreams but it was just too much. Alas, something had to be done. Anyhoo, Since my bandmates had real instruments from the great intrument makers of the day, Gibson and Fender, it was decided I needed a bass and a bass amp. What a way to start on an instrument. .. Oh well, it's seems to have worked out... . I never gave up the guitar so please enjoy some my original tunes...
