DeMario Jones a.k.a. Da Truth, Grew Up during the golden Years of Hip-Hop, In the Robert Taylor Homes one of the most notourious housing projects on the south side of Chicago. It was there that Truth was introduced to the struggles of life. Surrounded by every societal woe; from drugs to ganglife, Da Truth Took refuge in the only medium that spoke to his soul,music. It was this medium that accompanied Da Truth through his childhood and was always by his side at every crossroad and life lesson.As a child Truth always loved to listen to music, not knowing that a couple of years later he would find out that this would be his true gift and craft for the same thing he would listen to all day,everyday. Da Truth was first inspired to write music by one of his friends and a chilhood mentor. His Mentor invited him to appear on a song on his debut album: "Ghetto Woes". This opportunity sparked a passion that laid dormat for some time, a passion that has Da Truth spending every waking moment writing and improving his lyrical skills. Dedicated to showing the world who Da Truth is and what he has to offer the industry, Da Truth is confident that he will become the "most unstoppable MC in the Game".Through all the hardships and negative influences of his childhood Da Truth realized that truth was his only salvation.
