2006
DJ 2x4 first started mixing in the year of 2006 when he was just 16, first starting off in the music industry was big for someone so young who didnt have any contacts to set him up or help out along the way. So armed with a laptop and a few mixing programs he started creating mash-ups and remixes, slowly picking up the art of mixing he decided it was ime for a set of turntables and to become a DJ so for his 16th birthday he got a set of turntables and from that day on was locked away in his bedroom through out most of the day. He would practice for hours at a time getting the hand of mixing, mixing anything he could get his hands on from bits of old skool house to old beatles records is family had. FINALLY he had got the hang of mixing and was now an official 'bedroom DJ'. He then stayed in his bedroom mixing day & night
(annoying family and neighbours) .
2007
It's 2007 & as he was getting better at his mixing as in all things in life there is always something or somebody waiting to knock you down and try to tell you you wont amount to anything. In this case it was his friends and people at school who were telling him it was alla dream & that he would not go far with it & also like many things in life this just made him want to succeed even more. He then met his current girlfriend Liya Kavanagh who changed his opinion on life and believed in him this made him a lot more confident about what he was doing and from then on he was even more devoted to his music and practiced harder and harder & after about 4 months of hardwork he got his first set playing at an rnb event which then kicked off a whole series of events playing accross Liverpool & he rest as they say is history.
2008
2008 brought in a new life for DJ 2x4. With a collection of venues that he had played at in Liverpool under his belt such as Arena (Unit 1) and also Hannah's Bar plus many more... He had now done what he wanted to originally do and get a foothold in the music industry however like any DJ now in the music industry this was never just enough he wanted bigger and better things. Mid 2008 he got asked to join SLIP N SLIDE DJ's one of the biggest DJ crews around the world This was a big opener from him as he got the chance to work with artists such as Rick Ross, Plies, Trina and the Ying Yang twins along with that he got a few sets playing in & around Aiya Napa this was massive for DJ 2x4 as he had never played out of Liverpool never mind outside of the UK... this opened a lot of doors for him and stood him in good stead for anything he wanted to do.
2009
Currently DJ 2x4 co-owns a record label called Dusk Hill records along with founder and good friend Lewis Lé Val. They also own A List Unlimited Talent agency and work together to bring a fresh new sound to the Liverpool scene.

Also got a girlfriend who I love loads... Liya kavanagh :) been with her since August 2007... been through everything with her & lots more to go through.
