Once every 10 or 20 some odd years a person comes along who represents the good the bad and the ugly in all of us. Although we my not be the first to acknowledge that we can identify with that person. Secretly we all admire,honor and respect these types of people for their courage,ambition and the ability to stand alone in the face of adversity... Headrush Napoleon is one of those people...
June 27 1978 A star was born and it landed in "Brooklyn". His first steps were taken in the notorious "Tompkins" Housing Projects in "Bedford Stuyvesant", what some people like to call "Uptown Brooklyn". This would be the place most responsible for Headrush choosing show business or a musical career.
It had to be about 1983 at around five years old while playing with the children of one of his mothers close friends,something very strange and magical happened that would change young Headrush forever. As the story goes a young man around the ages of 18 or 19 who happened to be a relative of his moms friend. Had began playing records on his homestyle Turntable, making these weird but somehow rhythmic scratching sounds that were equivalent to playing a record in reverse.Which by the way made Headrush pay more attention to the actual words that were being said,as opposed to the sounds that were being made. Now Headrush had always had a keen sense for music as far back as he could remember...
But it had always been the usual R&B that everyone was used to hearing. I mean he could quote Micheal Jackson word for word,he knew who Marvin Gay was and even morned when he passed. Not to mention a whole list of R&B artists from the 60s & 70s he could name at the drop of a hat, and all this at the tender age of five years old.

Now....This sound seemed to particularly attract Headrush because he had never heard anything like it before. So after hours of undivided attention he went on to learn the word's to RUN DMC's Cult Classic Sucker MC's. Him and Hip-Hop fell in love, and the rest was history.By the age of twelve he would audition for Cool Rock Ski of the Fat Boy's. By age 14 he would be illegally housed in adult male detention for reasons we leave for him to explain. By 16 he would try pushing for deal with Wu- Tang Clan. He then goes out of town, catches a bid then goes up north to hone his skillz further.By 20 he meet's up with Tragedy Kahdafi and records Against all odds. He in turn does another sentence for doing things in showbiz in 1999, that would make one of his teenage peers (50-cent) a millionaire in 2003. He eventually comes home following a fall out with Tragedy,and grinds for at least 4 or 5 summers straight, buys a record label and is now ready to be his own man. His first name(Headrush) comes from his uncanny ability with words to make the listener feel as if they have been stimulated by some outside influence.
