So what is Oxjam?
Oxfam are getting members of the public to set up gigs, dances, basically anything musical to help them raise money. For more information check out the official Oxjam myspace (which can be found in our top friends list)
So what's Oxjam!@ the music box?
Its a gig being held at the music box (on Oxford road in Manchester) on the 26th of October. Its being organised by Eleanor with the help of Leah and Hebe (our myspace's are also in our top friends list).
So who's playing, how much is it and how can I get tickets?
We have 3 bands playing: Azure Glow, The Time and Rebbeca. To listen to them check out their myspace profiles (again in our top friends list). The tickets are only a fiver each and can be bought off Eleanor, Leah or Hebe. We'll be around Manchester and urbis selling tickets most weekends running up to the gig so look out for us out and about. Tickets will also be onsale on the door for anyone that can't find us or just prefers to buy tickets on the night. Keep checking back for more news. JUST A NEW NOTE: There is no age limit!!! Absolutely NONE! And I'm very glad to be saying this because there are many gigs I've missed out on over the years because of age limits. We'd preferably have people over 12, if unacompanied by an adult, but if you can't find a cool adult to bring(haha), that's fine. Just come along!
Brilliant t-shirt designs. Eleanor is a big fan, a/some picture of her might be put up on the new site modelling some t-shirts she got, as taken by Hebe, in Leah's basement. Crew Love!
