J.T. Hunter

J.T was born in 1981 in a coal mining town in the midlands known as Mansfield. He was bought his first guitar as a Christmas present at the age of 15, an awfully made Encore acoustic with a 1" action and a bassy timbre. Songs have trickled out ever since. His first band "Diane`s Lampshades" were a regular on the mansfield circuit (one pub and the occational school assembly,) but they were doomed to failure as the other band members left town for the magic land of University, leaving J.T to play on regardless. From that day to this J.T has been a solo artist, playing a gig here and there, a few open mic nights, but never really becoming the artist he envisaged when he first picked up that guitar back in `96.
