BIOGRAPHY
Psyek aka Jan Letovsky is 25 years old music producer from Ostrava, Czech Republic. Since he was born, his father made him listening bands such as Pink Floyd, Queen or New Order. At the age of seven he started to play violin which meant another eight years of teachers suffering. After elementary school he started studying scuplture and ceramics at The High School of Arts in Ostrava city. During those few years he began experimenting with lame Yamaha keyboard…tape casette recorder and pretty much everything that he was able to get some sound of. His wide musical taste includes everything starting from The Prodigy, FSOL, Autechre, Aphex Twin, Noisia, Spor, Kemal, Depeche Mode, Jean Michell Jarre, Kraftwerk, to any kinds of pop or disco music. After finishing school Psyek bought a PC and started producing music on a different level. He has always been into any kind of broken beats so he ended up with focusing on drum and bass and dubstep which satisfies him the most because of its openmindness.He is releasing on Esprit Records and Owntempo Recordings. His dubstep tunes are played on UK stations Sub.fm, Rinse.fm or czech mutation of Radio 1.
