I am a hotel in downtown Detroit that opened in 1917. I was but a little lad back then, a mere 450 rooms. In 1927 I had a growth spurt to my current 900 room size. I was run by Albert Pick for many years but closed in 1974 after being sold to a bunch of stoned hippies. I am currently under renovation.
