"the obscure minds" originally was a (most of the time) three piece punk rock outfit from Bamberg (i.e. Beercity), Bavaria, Germany in the late 1980s.
The band disbanded in 1992.
While my former mates stopped their musical ambitions completely, I joined a few others to form the "subzero topdogs", with which I stayed until 1998.
Three years on I got involved in a sinister project, called "the vampire lesbians of sodom". This band still exists. If you are also into punk and garage rock,

When we recorded our material, we came up with a few songs, which did not fit very well into the context of raw, riff driven, easy-to-play-drunk rock'n'roll, so I got interested in writing moody, personal songs again.
