Hi my name is Mark Back I’m a 25 year old singer songwriter form Caernarfon North Wales. I started to take an interest in music and performing about 8 years ago and so I went to study Performing Arts at Coleg Menai in Bangor.
I kind of taught myself to play the guitar with a bit of help from some friends.
I’ve been writing songs for about 7 years and I was taught how to record them at college and so I took an interest in sound recording as well as performing. So after I completed the Performing Arts course I returned to Coleg Menai to do Music Technology where I learnt a great deal more on what I really wanted to do.
I recorded my first Welsh EP in 2007 called “Cadw Ffydd Am Nawrâ€. The CD costs £4 and all the money went to Ysgol Pendalar in Caernarfon.
