Active since the summer of 2004 until the summer of 2007 because of a collision of two different views upon music, they just kept on experimenting new forms of phonic discontrol. Stefan and Mihai started this whole thing in order to do something unheared in the romanian metal scene, the combination of aggressive and progressive mental states and give them a simple paste into music. Their first MCD “Disintegration Show” released on the 16 November 2005 represented a first step in their evolution as a band and as a musical manifest. A 3 song MCD that many reviewers thought that those first songs ever written by Deviant will give birth to a complex future CD. Therefore Deviant started working on new songs for a future album. In 2006 they released an EP called “Pointbreak” in order to film a video and to be a presentation for the future album “Dual Soul Dialogue”. After some changes in the band, Deviant started recording Dual Soul Dialogue in December 2006 and finished the work in March 2007. It consists of 10 powerfull songs. A furious and strange mix of fast and sharplike-riffs in the vein of american death metal gently combined with strange melodic tunes of swedish inspiration that sustain the chaotic rhythm section.
