ENG - Mendez & Muna started their project on 2006. Firts result was signin and winnin as Best Dj/Producer the contest Nokia for Music 2006, playng with Tiga, Timo Maas and Gothan Project at Nokia TrendsLab. On 2007 they won as best Hip Hop project with EFFICIENZA SONIKA the Italian Mei Hip Hop. On 2008 they were called to play at Audiovisiva in Milan byQoob/MTV Italy and on 2009 they were choosed as one of best ten remixers in the remix contest promoted by Oceantrax (Bini & Martini) and NokiaTrendsLab. Mendez & Muna' music background is very wide: they play from hip hop/downtempo to electro house music /new disco & indie and their approach to production and remixin' is very spacious as well as their dj sets.
ITA - Mendez & Muna hanno iniziato a collaborare nel 2006. Nello stesso anno hanno vinto nella categoria miglior dj/producer il Nokia for Music 2006, esibendosi nello stesso line up con Tiga, Timo Maas e Gothan Project al Nokiatrends di Firenze. Nel 2007 hanno vinto il MEI HIP HOP con il progetto EFFICIENZA SONIKA. Nel 2008 sono stati selezionati da Qoob/MTV Italia per esibirsi a Milano nell'ambito della rassegna Audiovisiva. Nel 2009 sono stati selezionati tra i 10 migliori remixer nel contest promosso da NokiaTrendLab e Oceantrax (Bini & Martini). Il background di Mendez & Muna è molto ampio: suonano musica che spazia dall'hip hop/downtempo fino all'electro-house/new disco & indie. Il loro approccio alla produzione e all'arte del remixin' è ugualmente "spazioso" così come i loro dj set.
