About Me

I am 27, married and have three beautiful children; Simon~12, Sara~9, and Samantha~4. I also have a 19 year old step son~Justin that lives in CA. Family to me is not always by blood...It's who we love! I am blessed to be a stay-at-home mother. I am unique, not another out there like me...The Bible tells me so! I am a fun loving laid back kind of person. I love to laugh and smile and in turn make you do the same. As far as who I am in general...you kinda lose track of who you are when you devote so much time to the ones you love. I look at myself and see wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. Brenda without those things, I'm not sure who I am or would be and I don't think I want to know! Another year or so, I'll have a few hours a day to figure out who I am when I'm alone. I am an honest person and love being that way. I don't care for liars, cheaters, self-centered and so on kind of people. Sometimes God puts them in our paths for His plan and we just have to deal! I won't judge you from the outside, it's not my job...but as a parent I can judge you by your lifestyle and if it's not fitting for my family then I choose not to be around it! I was raised in good ol' Texas. If u want to know something...just ask!

My Interests

I enjoy being with my family and friends and cherishing those moments. I like going to hockey games and dirt track races. I like camping, fishing, hiking. I would rather be at home with friends playing games than out on the town, even though that's fun at times. I hate clothes shopping, but I would have a blast refurnishing my house! I am pretty laid back, I go with the flow! Right now my interests consist of what my family's needs are!

I'd like to meet:

Friends from my past that have touched my life in some way or another. Others that I haven't met that God will put in my life.

Music:

I love love love 80's and Classic Rock. James Blunt, George Michael, Journey, Tom Petty, The Doors, Jackson Browne, U2, Candlebox, Green Day, Maroon 5, Rob Thomas, Sublime, Fergie. Erik Neff, Remington Rafael and Jagger Cook...check them out in my friends. I listen to almost everything, a lot of this and a little of that...depends on the mood I'm in!

Movies:

I like all kinds of movies from action, horror/thriller, romance-comedy, to comedy. A few of my favs are The Notebook, The Phantom of the Opera, Dirty Dancing, A Knights Tale, 10 Things I Hate About You, Pale Rider, 50 First Dates, Never Been Kissed, Overboard and I could be here all day...so I'll stop now!

Television:

The Contender, Ultimate Fighter, Worlds Strongest Man, Football, Mens...U of A College Basketball, News and Weather, Nip/Tuck, Trama: Life in the ER, Stories of Survival, Plastic Surgery...anything to do with real life medical stuff.

Books:

I have never been a big reader but if I do: The Bible, Christian Studies and ANYTHING by: Nora Roberts

Heroes:

My Heavenly Father of course! My Grandparents...for showing me what true love is like. They taught me how a marriage is suppose to work and to always stay strong no matter what life deals you, trust in God's plan and not your own. Paul, for putting up with me and being great to me all these years even though neither of us were perfect. My mom, for doing the best she could as a single mother raising three girls! My kids for all our laughs and chaos. With them I have learned there truly is such a thing as unconditional love, cause they sure do know how to push your buttons! Let's not forget the people that risk their lives for others they don't even know: Police, Firemen, Soldiers and the list goes on...Thank You!
