About Me

ScarsALIVE is pursuing the idea of a personal
genre they call "diversity", based on the idea that the
views and emotions expressed in lyric writing will not be
entitled to just one type of music, but different sounds
located along the line of Metal, Rock and other genres.

ScarsALIVE has a way of bringing their ideas to
life in their music. With Michael Breamer on lead guitar,
giving you the face melting, epic solos while at the same
time keeping your heart beating with vocal friendly
melodies that account for the catchy choruses you hear from
newly found vocalist Randy Romance. Joey Lutrell brings his
own persona on guitar with riffs that give you no choice but
to MOVE! And finally you have the rhythm section bumpin’
with Ty Edwards on drums & Joe Breamer on bass.

To fully understand the effect of ScarsALIVE's
lyric-song connection; simply listen & find out what it
means to you. To adorn their ideas they welcomed in
vocalist Randy Romance (Shyla/November Blessing) who
has brought certain aliveness to the band. You may find
you hear such influences as (Craig; Blessthefall, Larry;
My American Heart, and Jag; A Skylit Drive/Odd Project)
when listening to Randy’s vocals. A type of singing
unheard of in metalcore bands such as ScarsALIVE.
Metalcore being the base of their sound.

While the songs become more distinct within the
industry, their lyrics gain more meaning as Randy
& Tyler share their similar views on the importance
of friends, relationships, and life in general. The
points made in ScarsALIVE's content are
"for the open-minded to connect with,
and the narrow-minded to listen closely"

says Ty Edwards. They tend to have an
enlightened aura about them, with a strong
initiative to convey their experiences. After
talking with them you will find their thoughts and
feelings about life can be very influential.

As much as they love philosophy, they also love to
excite! Their live performance is deemed to stir up
your adrenaline and entice you to make your move
quick, either to the pit or the front of the stage. With
a long line of catchy choruses for those who like to
participate and sing, you may also get to savor some
of your greatest moments with your friends.
"Come to a show, get to know us and each other
and let these memories last because in the end
all you will have left is the scars on your mind
that have left you with the recollection of who you
really are, and who your ever going to be,
even when your dead."

Why the name change?

We felt with a new vocalist, and a new style of writing(not new, just better) that it was necessary. We've come a long way from Ares Anatomy and it's time we had a name with meaning. I could tell you ...
