About Me

Welcome to the Myspace page for the Green Tortoise Hostel in San Francisco!
The Green Tortoise Hostel has been a favorite of backpackers and travellers for decades. From our unbeatable location in historic North Beach (a quick walk to tourist favorites like Chinatown and Fisherman's Wharf), to our cozy dorm rooms, to our relaxing private rooms with free movies, to our free meals and pub crawls, to our famous Adventure Travel bus tours...those are just a few of the reasons the Tortoise has become a legend.
Planning a trip? Check out the Tortoise's calendar of upcoming events in San Francisco and at the hostel! And remember, you can make your trip even more Tortoise-ful by combining a trip to San Francisco with one of the Green Tortoise bus tours, or a trip up the coast to the Seattle Green Tortoise Hostel.
To make a reservation, visit our website, www.greentortoisehostel.com , or call us, 415-834-1000 or 800-TORTOIS, or Skype us, gtsanfrancisco. The weather is beautiful...wish you were here!
We have a great show space, and if you are interested in playing a show here please send us a link to your music page so we can check it out!
We'd like a stay with us to be a memorable highlight of your trip. After you pass through our doors, stay in touch with our Myspace page; we'd love to hear from you! Bon voyage and happy trails...
To see San Francisco stay at the Green Tortoise

This is Sallyanne and Craig's trip around San Francisco, they stayed at the Green Tortoise at night and by day saw: Chrissy Field, the Golden Gate Bridge, Hardly Strictly Bluegrass festival and Conservatory of Flowers in Golden Gate Park, Knob Hill, The Zoetrope Building and St Peter and Paul Church in North Beach, and Sea Lions! Sweet.

So...where are you from? Let us know - add a pin to our map!
