I was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I'm the eldest of 8. :))) I Have 5 brothers & 2 sisters. Our parents, Robert & Shirley were born & raised in Prince Edward Island, Canada. Then they moved to Toronto, Ontario, Canada & started our big happy family. They raised us up there, then 1 by 1, we left the nest to start our own families. :))) Some still in Toronto, others in the surrounding area of Toronto. My parents still live in Toronto. I have a wonderful husband of 37 yrs. as of the past July 21st. His name is Richard, (Rick). Rick & I bought a house 45 mins. north of Toronto 33 yrs. ago. We are still in the same house since then. We have 2 children, Joanne Valerie who is 35 yrs. old & a son Richard Jr. (Ricky) that is 30 yrs. old. Rick & I are proud grandparents of 8 children.Interests: My family & friends mean the world to me. I love you all!!! Animals have a very special place in my heart. I have an English Springer Spaniel named Harley,& a cat named Tobi. I have my own pet grooming business that I run out of my home here in Bradford, Ontario. I got my start in grooming when I was 9 yrs. old in a Poodle Salon called Park Avenue Poodle Salon just around the corner from my parents home. The owners names were Vic. & Bernice. They were a great couple that had no children & loved to have me helping them out on weekends. That's like some 40 odd years. I took a Business course in High School. I was awarded a silver cetificate in business machines. I love working on anything to do with my fingers. ( Get your mind out of the gutter ) LOL Anything to do with office machines, typewriters, adding machine, etc. After I finished school I got a job working for a well known drug stores head office working on NCR 160, IBM 3742, typewriters, accounting, payroll,etc. Worked for them for 11 yrs. but found it hard getting down to Toronto after we moved here in Bradford. Travelled back & forth with my husband for the last 4 yrs. I worked there, then called it quits. Then I did Daycare from our home for about 18 yrs. That was a job & a half...oh mama & how!!! Now I groom animals from home & plan on doing that till I retire.
