Get Your Own! | View Slideshowim 25.. i was in the air force and worked flight control and fuel management systems on the stealth bomber (B2) at whiteman afb, missouri. i was hit by a drunk driver on my sport bike in 2003. i had massive head trauma and was revived twice on the way to the hospital. i was told (well my family) i had a 5% chance of making it thur the first night. when i survived the first night it was projected that if i should ever come out of my coma i would be a veggie. when i came out and wasnt i was told it would take a year and a half to two years to regain the motor skills nessessary to walk. i walked out of the hospital two months later. i wasnt wearing a helmet that night for some reason. i dont even remember why as i only remember three days prior to the wreck to about twenty-five after. then when i do start getting my memory back it get incrementally greater with each day till i can remeber the whole day before (took about two weeks). fortunitly for me the 21 y/o drunk driver was in a company work truck. thus i bought my house cash, my toys, and pretty much anything i wanted lol. the state of florida paid to have me retrained and i chose nursing. currently im a CNA but im working tward an RN.
i have a 75 gallon salt water reef tank. five cats (all names after my favorite superbike racer except the last that came nameed) and a pure breed, english block head black lab. my hubby and have been together four years as of labor day :) . i have a custom 98 toyota tacoma with more things done to it than can be mentioned here.
i also have the bike of my dreams (2002 gsxr 1000) thats been modified out also! (gonna repaint it with the 2000 corona WSB scheme only blue and white..)
other then that i am currently making renovations to my house. knocked out the dividing wall between the kitchen and the living room and bought 900 sq ft of tile and have all but the kitchen laid. building an island with cook top at this momment. i worked as a graphic design artist for a while during my recovery.. have pics of my work at THIS LINK .... surprisingly i still have more to say but if you have made it this far im sure your needing a bath room break :)http://img157.imageshack.us/img157/3023/wallpaper0194wd7.j
