David Rothenberg

About Me

David Rothenberg has been making jazz out of the rhythms and melodies of nature for years. He's played all over the world, been profiled on radio and TV, wrote the successful book WHY BIRDS SING which has been published in English, Italian, Spanish, and soon in Chinese and Korean. He uses the musicality of birds, insects, and whales to ground his musical explorations, and he's always looking for new ways to expand jazz into the sounds of the Earth.I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
