Joey Fattz, a 23 year old problem child, has came a long way from his days of freestyling on the corners and embarassing emcees at open mic night. Since his debut mixtape Pain is Pleasure mixed by Shef, Joey has had alot of ups and downs: From children being born; to run ins with the law. Since his latest release from incarceration, its been all music for him. Crazy Straight Records, along with Hoodstarz Entertainment, "are family" as he puts it. They've been on a nice role with features from Omilio Sparkks on the Confirmation mixtape hosted by DJ Envy in addition to alot of feedback from the streets (none of which was negative). When he was asked about what changed to make him focus so much on his music, he gave a sly smirk and said "I dont feel like my city is being represented right." He sat there with his 5th of Hennessy drinking straIght out of the bottle and just zoned before sayng "i tried to reach out to niggaz in the city and they left me hangin...so fuck em." At that exact moment, he grabbed a pen and paper and wrote the song "Victory Lap" and let out alot of anger (listen to the track to understand). Joey's main intention is to make sure his two sons and baby girl don't grow up like him. At the current time look for two releases after the Confirmation; one hosted by Nuke Knocka and another one with all original beats from Sayez. Stay on the lookout for Fattz.
