ARRON FAYE - SONGWRITER/PRODUCER

Arron faye is a London based songwriter and producer, originally from Dublin, Ireland. He has been writing and recording music since his early teens. His father owned a second hand music equipment store, and with easy access to new instruments and gear he soon gained a great interest in music and the technology that created, and captured it.After years of home studios, he set up ‘rollin’ cloud’ in 2000. Rollin cloud housed a recording studio, record label, and video production. Over the 8 years that followed arron worked on music for many artists, including Kylie minogue, Kool Keith, and Sophie ellis bextor, and also writing music for many TV and Radio spots, including Heineken, Tg4, and today FM. Rollin Cloud released 1 album and 4 singles as a label, and produced videos for all.Since moving to London, arron has moved his studio to his home and has been working on developing young acts, writing for more established ones, while still doing some stuff for radio and tv. Currently he is working on tracks for the upcoming Will Young record in collaboration with Biff Stannard, helping develop EMI artist JAGGA, young girlband The Scarlettes, and writing new songs with Ben Earle……. He also continues to collaborate with other writers including Hannah Robinson, Biff Stannard, Joe Cang, Sam Preston, Andy Love, and many more…..I suppose his sound could be described as having some what of a twist on the eighties sound, but a little harder and sometimes moody and dark. That’s not to say that he doesn’t hit a happy summer time vibe from time to time. Some of his leanings come from his interest in early dance and electronic pop music, and also the harder hitting early Detroit and Chicago house and techno pioneers like Kevin saunderson, Derek may, and juan atkins who all had a certain sound that somehow finds its way into even the poppiest of arrons work, still…
