Black Apple

It's Everything you can't write about yourself...

About Me

A Black Apple is an anonymous review written by one band member (usually the main songwriter) of a touring, recording, working band, about another band. Currently, I am writing all of the reviews, but I am taking submissions by other lead singer/songwriters at [email protected] for consideration in local Portland publications and online review sites.I think it's very important to the credibility of a music review that the person writing it is not a college grad who has never worn the same pair of socks for a week while living in a van going city to city for the sake of their music.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Lead songwriters who want to write reviews of other unheard of bands.
