Hey there, I'm Cristiano, aka mrPixeldot, aka TheS, aka Cri Cri if u'r a nice silky sweet bird.. I' I've got a love/hate relationship with Italy, my country and Italians; love the old messy Italy and it's incredible food and vitlic characters, hate the globalized flat cheap and pathetic new Italy of the last years, that's why I'm in London. I started out as a painter very young, then moved into video art and installation; then I moved to Iceland for a while. in Reykjavik I began to make music, when I played my tunes for the first time and I FELT THE BUZZ, (under a cheesy restaurant in my home town in the Italian Alps) I got addicted and couldn't stop...fuck paintings, installations and exhibitions, I just made and played music locked up in my little valley town from 2001 to 2005, than I moved to London to start work as a professional dj producer. In 2006 together with Steve Burkes I've opened a venue in East London called UNIT 7. I now play regularly in London and abroad as a freelance in clubs and parties such as AKA (Jaded), THE EGG (Deranged and Demented), COLOSSEUM (Atlantis), CAFE' 1001 (Resident), RHYTHM FACTORY (T.E.M.B.A.,Versus), CLUB 54 (Minimar,Break the pig), 93 FEET EAST (T.E.M.B.A.), MEET (Red Lights), AQUARIUM (Delate) PUBLIC LIFE, WHIPPING HOUSE, EXIT BAR and of course, UNIT 7 (resident). I'd like to meet anybody who knows when to speak and say interesting and funny things. I'd like to meet people that know what they do and do what they say. I can't stand flat narrow minded mainstream white trash wankers. I like people with a very personal way of living, whatever it is, but sencere and unique. I like people with dreams, I like people that work hard for those dreams, whether they manage to make it come true or not. I like people with questions and doubts. I can't stand cokeheads talking bullshit for hours in clubs, especially while I'm playing, especially if are males and all sweaty...I like pretty girls a lot, but I easely get bored.... My dream is to keep on rocking as many dancefloors as I can; if and when I get sick of it, I would like to open an eco farm somewhere in the world, live a simple life in contact with nature, cows, horses & co., grow my own food generate my own energy and sit down, think about all that's happened in those mad years and wait for a global catastrophe, which will come soon or later.
