From the birthplace of the Great Depression, we bring you dark tidings.Dark Valley Harvesters consist of Patrick Newkirk on Guitars and vocals, Mike Newkirk on Bass, and Jimmy Mollet on drums. Patrick and Mike Newkirk were fixtures on the Oklahoma rock scene in the early 1990’s. Patrick continued playing music, co-forming Denton Texas’ Pinebox Serenade in 2004.Jimmy Mollet, a seasoned musician in his own right, has been playing and recording with the two brothers for the last several years. Together the three have devised a very original approach to dark folk/southern hard rock. Dark Valley Harvesters songs tell stories of loss and despair with overtones of false or no hope.
