The Rotting Corpses are a band from West Dunbartonshire, Scotland. After the demise of the original lineup in the late 80's the cult following of The Rotting Corpses was left in question of what would be next for the band and what happened between its members. In early 2006 the main force behind the band and wordsmith Bryan Newton confronted ex-Mutley bassist Craig Wilson with the lyrics and old tapes he had of the band. The intenions of both men was clear, they had to work together. With Craig Drafting in his cousin Davie Stewart on guitar, strong songs and ideas were already starting to emerge. The Line-up was completed by close friend and fellow musician Stewart Matheson filling in on Drums. The four piece are ready to take up from where the band left off and with the new ideas and friendships made within the group there is already excitment in the shire of the west.
