Come be a part of the Mardi Gras festivities in Lafayette, Louisiana. Skate a marathon, or half marathon, then join in on the other events for the remainder of the day and the whole weekend.... if you can handle it!!!!
The course is a smooth, concrete city boulevard, 2.2 miles in length, with the start/finish line directly in front of the CajunDome - 444 Cajundome Blvd, Lafayette, LA.

Pro Masters (age 35 up)
Open, ages: 10-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
Half Marathon categories:
ages: 9 and under, 10-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
Fun Lap (no category divisions, no awards). This is free for skaters in other races; a good chance to skate with friends who have come to watch.
All ages are as of race day.
Full marathon skaters age 10-12 need permission of a race official.
