About Me

asiancreationMy name is Eline. Or Elli. Or El. To just one person, it's Li. To a select few, it's Eline Roberta. But it doesn't matter what you call me. It matters who I am. And I'm a girl on the brink of womanhood, about to be thrown into the real world as if it's the deep end of the pool, and someone forgot to inflate my water wings. But it doesn't bother me, because I know Someone who walked on water, and if I ask and have faith, He can teach me...life can eat you up and swallow you in. He's my anchor to reality.
If you wonder about your life, guess what? So do I. I wonder everyday what's to become of me and my family. Where am I going to go? What am I going to do? But I believe that living my life is the key to get things moving in the direction I want it to go. I'm not worried about my life. I place it in God's hands: everything I need, he knows. I'm just abiding my time. He knows what I need when I need it.
Example: the perfect man. Well, for me, anyway. I know, I just know, that God did not put me on this Earth to not love someone. So I'm waiting, because by the time I was born, God was already primping me for him. So he better be ready, because I've already been waiting 20 years.
Go out, take a deep breath, live your life, one step at a time. because if you take two steps or more at a time, you trip and fall and hurt yourself. And pain hurts, who would want to feel that all the time?

My Interests

My heart is set on dancing....any kind, by the way....Oh, and read, and write, and sleep, and work, eating, although, that's really becoming a bothersome, since it's cutting into my dance life.... oh, and talking to my friends. I need them in my life just as much as the air I breathe.....

I'd like to meet:

Someone who has hiccupped, burped and sneezed at the same time.

Music:

I'm highly eclectic....just no techno. It's so annoying!..

Movies:

None. I love movies. I love to make fun of them, to enjoy them, to criticize them....I just love them.

Television:

Geez, im a tv holic. I luv tv. I guess it's easier to solve tv show problems than my own. On tv everything's scripted. I'm not scripted, and it's harder...

Books:

I've read about a quarter of the half of the fraction of my town's library. My intent is to read all the fiction by the time I'm 21...

Heroes:

my parents, my friends, my grandmother, my aunt, my cousins, my brother, people in my life are my heroes.....
