I never thought a time would come when I would need an FAQ. Apparently that time is now.
q: Who are you and where are you located?
a: I'm Jacinda, and I'm located in Boulder. Nice to meet you. :)
q: What's up with your album???
a: I was hoping for a summer release but fate did not agree with me. It's expected to drop in the fall, specifically October. More information will be forthcoming.
q: Do you write your own songs/play your own instruments/etc.?
a: Anything that I've not written or that features musicians other than myself, credit will be included in the title of the track here, and in the notes in any physical releases. I do almost all of my own writing and arranging and play most of my own instruments.
q: I heard your song xyz and I want to remix it. Is that ok?
a: Any and all remixes are welcomed and loved. I am on ccmixter.org as jacindae, and you can find stems and acapellas for several of my songs there. If there is a song of mine that you would like to remix that *isn't* on there, just email me and I can almost always send you the tracks.
q: I want to use said remix on my album/movie/other commercial project. Is that ok?
a: This is almost always workable, but handled on a case by case basis. Please email me. :)
q: Want to collaborate with me on a project?
a: I wish I could say yes to all of these, but my plate is pretty full and I usually don't have time for collaborative projects unless you're in the Denver/Boulder area. This is likely to change in the future, but sadly that's where I'm at now.
q: Are you looking for a record label?
a: Simply put, not really.
