Basic Information
I'm basically your every day left wing liberal, vegetarian environmentalist, who uses "haha" way to much when typing online (you've been warned... haha).

I have a very wide variety of interests. I care about politics and environmentalism and animal rights are also very important to me.
I'm interested in languages, cultures, art, photography, history and world religions. I've also always really liked museums.
I'm also currently teaching myself Japanese. ☆日本語☆！
Languages
As far as languages are concerned Japanese and Russian interest me most, but I am also interested in French. I was teaching myself Russian on and off for a few years but switched to Japanese around August/September 2008.
History
As far as history and cultures are concerned I am very interested in all Japanese history and culture, ancient Egyptian history and culture, art history in general and most recently the Three Kingdoms (Wu, Wei and Shu) era of China. However I spend most of my time studying Japanese and not history.
I'm also very interested in Zhuge Liang of Shu, the most renowned strategist of his time. He is still known throughout the Asian world as one of the greatest military strategists of China. I have yet to take the time to really look into him though, haha.
Astrology
I also love astrology. Everyone I meet seems to fit there zodiac sign. I'm so much like a pisces if you read a book about the sign 99% of it applies to me in one way or another (often both).
Music
My favorite artists are Alanis Morissette and Tatu (Yelena Katina & Yuliya Volkova, Russian and English language music).
I tend to like music in a language other then English more often then not. I really like how Russian and Japanese sounds in pop/rock music. Basic (casual) English is a very boring language to me. I prefer Russian music, since I can understand some of what they say which is always fun, haha. Although understanding music isn't all that important to me. A lot of the music that's popular in the states you can't understand anyway... not that I'd want to with the lyrics that are in the songs...
