Once started as a underground TNT forum, only for a few people
where they could spread some nasty rumours and gossip has
now gone from underground to be the leading force in the TNT community! The Black Butterfly existed for about 5 months before the official TNT forum
was closed without warning or explanation. Many fans felt betrayed and upset
by this because they had buildt up a solid fan community for over 3 years of
discussion and caring about the band beyond what anyone can ask for a fanbase.
Ex lead singer Tony Harnell gave of his time and had hundreds and hundreds
of posts at the official forum before he left. By giving us of his time,
most of the hardcore TNT internet fan community backs Tony Harnell
to this day while still being interested in
TNT and caring for their favorite band.So The Black Butterfly was started as a new option for the old fans
from the official forum to yet again come togheter and talk like
they used too. Not only that, but the forum
gives TNT fans for the first time the chance to share their bootlegs
and other rarities amongst themselves. Our goals are simple.
Still spread the word about TNT so
they can keep touring and making albums, but also give our
100% support and dedication to their ex lead singer Tony Harnell
who spent so much time caring about the fans. BBS will always
state that Tony Harnell is the voice of TNT.Though few, the TNT Internet fan community is a very
strong force and dedicated group of people. They speak their minds,
they do not kiss ass and sometimes they might even be a bit rude.
But make no mistake, TNT for these people are religion, it's personal.
TNT have for many of these people been in their lives for three whole
decades. The Black Butterfly Society does not want to make war or
rebellion against the official TNT site. The Black Butterfly Society was
started because of the closing of their beloved community. TNT fans
had no choice. The Black Butterfly Society honours the past but also
hope for a future for TNT. They honour their old friend Tony Harnell
and still consider him alongside Ronni Le Tekrø as *the* TNT.
That does not mean we do not want TNT to continue spreading music.
If you like any of the live MP3's posted, be sure to check out our
community, say hello to Tony Harnell, Tony Mills and Victor Borge
at their myspace sites and beyond everything else, buy some of the music! At the end of 2007, The Black Butterfly Society still goes on strong but also looks to other band and interesting music to support and promote. CrashDiet is one of them and the BBS focuses their attention also to this strong and upcoming band from Sweden. Be sure to check them out.
