About Me
That's the movie-themed (what else?) wallpaper I made myself for my computer. Isn't it just awesome? You can view a larger version of it by clicking here . There's something, like, 100 movies represented on there. Can you spot them?
Check out my WORLD FAMOUS (*cough*) movie blog Stale Popcorn . It's totally radical.
BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN - Is he the greatest man to ever live?!? I'm fairly sure that answer is a big ol' YES!. Bruce = God.
I'm Glenn. I'm a pretty abnormal (and extremely self-involved) 21-year-old from Geelong. I work at Coles in Belmont (checkout chick y'all) and I am also a music reviewer for Forte (way too much shithouse "crunk". How is that music???!!???). I'm a big movie obsessed freak, as you'd know if you knew me at all (and you know you wanna). My favourites include the works of David Lynch (Mulholland Dr., Twin Peaks, Fire Walk With Me, Blue Velvet), Alfred Hitchcock (Psycho, Rear Window, The Birds, The 39 Steps), Bob Fosse (All That Jazz, Cabaret), Elia Kazan (On the Waterfront, A Streetcar Named Desire, Splendor in the Grass), Martin Scorsese (Taxi Driver, Goodfellas, Age of Innocence, The Last Temptation of Christ), Ridley Scott (Thelma & Louise, Alien, Blade Runner), Francis Ford Coppola (One from the Heart, Godfather Part I and II), Wes Craven (Scream trilogy, Nightmare on Elm Street), Quentin Tarantino (Jackie Brown, Kill Bill, Pulp Fiction), Baz Luhrmann (Moulin Rouge!, Strictly Ballroom, Romeo+Juliet), John Hughes (The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles), James Cameron (Terminator 1 & 2, Aliens), and Jean-Pierre Juenet (Amelie, City of Lost Children, Delicatessen).
I went to Belmont High School (grad 2003) and then I studied Professional Writing & Editing at the Gordon, which I finally graduated from in May 2007. Now I'm just working and trying to save money.
I hope to move to Melbourne by at least early 2008, but preferably later 2007. Hell, as soon as possible! It is also my goal to move to the States (er, America folks) in a reasonable amount of time. But that'll take even longer, but it's something I really wanna do. When I was in NY recently I could tell it was "my spiritual home".
