I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Greetings, Welcome and Thank You for stopping by to visit my page. Come on in and sit for a minute ...
NubianGraphics.com
(Who am I? I'm a person: Black (with a cup of Choctaw, a dash of Creole and a pinch of the ubiquitous question mark), female (with no inclinations toward being 29 again - yikes!), vegetarian (oh and I wish everyone in the world was and oh how I bet the world wishes it too…) and aware (I truly appreciate the simplest of things). I'm a bit of a loner sometimes (often), but I delight in the company of good friends and family... I began writing, producing, directing and performing at the dawn of time. In this life I've performed on three continents in numerous theatrical productions; television shows; films; singing groups; dance, mime, comedy and improv companies (some of which I wrote, directed and/or produced). I've written two books: Some of My Best Friends (my acclaimed one woman show); and Natural Woman / Natural Hair (natural hairstyles and poetry and other thoughts on natural hair and self esteem) and am beginning to gather words for a poetry book I expect to finish by next spring. I have film, stage and television projects in development and a music endeavor that seems to linger simmering on a back burner.....I’ve entered My Space because I find it to be a cool and quirky way to network, share information and catch up with old friends and acquaintances. So far it's been amazing how many cool people I've found or who have found me. Feel free to add me as your friend*, send me a note (I promise to get to it as soon as I can) and check out my website, http://www.tkeyah.com/, where you can order autographed copies of my books (among other things), get links to natural hair salons and other Black businesses and read my every now and again newsletter, The Crystal News. You can also follow me on Twitter (http://twitter.com/tkeyahcrystal) and join my Facebook fan page (http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=98235188456). Peace and Blessings, T'Keyah ..* I support freedom of speech and expression absolutely and have an eclectic circle of friends. But I don't want offensive photos on my page, so please don't send an add request if your main photo is offensive in some way (to women or people of color or the elderly, etc. oh you know what I mean).
