About Me

I am a national landmark, designated as such by the US congress and the Secretary of the Interior in 1968. I was born in the 1870's, where water power from Saint Anthony Falls fueled my growth and development. I became the world's biggest flour mill and because of me the United States had the largest milling capacity in the world. For over 50 years, I helped Minneapolis provide over 25 percent of the world's milled flour.I have been a mill for over 120 years and now my existance is threatened by people who want to turn me into condos. The Place Where the Carbohydrate Revoloution began!
