About Me

J-Foh!
'ello. I'm Jennifer (also known as Jen, Jennifoh, or J-Foh). I am currently attending Western Washington University, where my goal is to music education. Music is one of the largest and most significant aspects of my life, and I hope to inspire others to develop the same passion for it that I have. I'm crazy for tennis; I play it, watch it, breathe it! I kid, I kid. I have quite a tendency to laugh uncontrollably, but that's what makes life enjoyable! Apparently I laugh like Elmo...but I don't mind that. I'm bothered by stranded carts in parking lots, close-minded people, lack of common courtesy, and disappointing others. I love having bible studies at the most random times, then the having the most unexpected verse stick out, being completely relevant to my current situations. God is amazing, but need I point that out? Biggest lesson learned this year: Let God take control; don't try to lead your own life. I love people, although I'm too shy to approach them at times...but I'm willing to get to know anyone. I value honesty. I'd love to go to a performance at Carnegie Hall. Alexi is my twin. Kimby is the Disney queen. Chelsea is one of the most optimistic people out there. Rainier is a music god. I love gummy bears! My friends keep me sane, and that's no exaggeration.

My Interests

Growing in Christ, tennis, playing flute and piano, music in general, bible studies, gummy bears, oriental lilies, bubble tea, West Beach sunsets, mafia, laughing, forking lawns, post-it nights, Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, 6th period AP Lit, searching for sea glass, bright colors, Wind Ensemble, tennis bus rides, Elton John's mad piano skills, making collages, trips to the Olive Garden and Jamba Juice in the evening, trustworthy people, easygoing people, concerts, seeing other people happy, harmonizing, analyzing song lyrics, "Jennifer's tennis club," long car rides, blowing up eggs in microwaves, water balloon volleyball, clear night skies, making mixed cds, tropical scents, BBQs at West Beach, Keane, Italian culture, having my sister home, making pointless videos, our reenactments of historical events, power outages, cheesecake, people who know how to act their age, discovering things I have in common with people, my parents' taste in music, water, koalas, flamingos, storms, posting random notes, tickets, postcards, etc on the wall, giving compliments, recognizing the positive attributes of every individual.

My Blog

Music isn't just notes on a page.

I just got to thinking: I'm graduating in less than four months.  I rarely post blogs, but I began to realize how much I have to be thankful for right now. I was just thinking about my past four...

"Go, from the top of the world, to the bottom rung."

I was listening to a pretty sweet band this morning, Newsboys, and I realized why I like them so much.  I wouldn't call it an obsession or anything, but they're incredibly appealing and influenci...
