I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

'
Hey! My name is Susan. I'm the wife of a great guy named Tim and mother of four (Marc, Kimberly, Saxony and Trent) three are teens, please pray for me. =) And we have a couple of bassett hounds named Luke and Dixie whose pictures on my site if you want to see their cutie patootie faces.
We are members of Severn Covenant Church. I've been an AA at the same company since 1990 but apparently that's going to change in a few months.
I love my kids, my husband and the Lord, not necessarily in that order. It's my prayer lately that the Lord will call to me and that I will follow Him completely. Because His will be done, not mine.
It's becoming more evident every day that this life is not about us, but it's about loving the unloveable, the forgotten, the sinners...since that's exactly what I am. We live in a world that is so dead and so selfish and so corrupt that it's hard to live in it and not have some rub off on us. We need to shake it off, get away from the grime and be shining examples of Christ's love to others. Let's stop complaining about how others don't measure up and show them how Jesus has changed us. It's better than the alternative. My hope on this space here is to meet new people, network with my fellow church members and be able to just spread the love of Christ. The world needs a little more love, don't you think? It can't hurt, now can it?

I’m a tube of toothpaste

Funny how we're like tubes of toothpaste.  When pressure is applied, whatever is inside, gets squeezed out.  Well in the past week, I have been one foul tube of toothpaste.  Regret, sad...

Blogging away

So this is a blog.  It's nice.  I like the walls here.  What are they textured?  And periwinkle, cool, one of my favorite colors.  I had a dream last night about Dwight. ...
