About Me

Beginning in 2006 under the band name "Asylum," 4 friends from Sloan, New York set out to create music of their own. After Asylum disbanded and crashed, they gave it another shot less than a year later experimenting with lineup changes at guitar, vocals, and bass until they arrived at the 4-piece lineup today. In 2008, Forging Fears recorded their first studio album with Rich Spalla at IDS Studios in Niagara Falls, New York. The album is entitled "The Asylum" to pay homage to their first band, as well as describe the mood of the recording process. With no end in sight, Forging Fears is a hard-working band who looks to become recognized for creating their own original music.
