My name is Elizabeth. Hi. When I was little, my dad called me Lishabeth. About half the people I know now call me Liz, and the other half call me Elizabeth.
I grew up in Erie, Pennsylvania, and Laguna Niguel, California. Now I spend about 3/4 of the year in Long Beach, where I go to school. (CSULB) I'm majoring in Linguistics, and minoring in English Creative Writing. My emphasis language is French, but I haven't found a language that I haven't liked to learn yet. I have no specific idea of what I'm going to do with my major, but I know I love to write, and to learn about languages, accents, and cultures. So, right now, my dream job is having a steady column at some sort of culture or travel magazine where I could work up to an Editor position.
I like to sit back and listen to other people, which other people can confuse with being quiet, when really I think I have a bunch to say. I can talk a lot. My sisters say I'm loud. I also tend to daydream quite often, and I take school and studying pretty seriously.
I took about a year off from dancing, but now I am getting back into it. I am a competitive Irish dancer, but maybe someday I will be in some sort show, like Lord of the Dance. I'm a Christian and belong to Jesus Christ, who has never left my side, no matter what I've been going through. I love all kinds of music, but hearing worship music on Sunday mornings while walking into church sets me at peace.
I have two sisters; I call them Nettie and Opie, but their real names are Jenette and Rachel. They wouldn't let me play with them when we were little because I didn't have blonde hair like they did, but we've made up since. Now they are completely awesome, and they play with me. Plus, Nettie got me a brother called Jacob who likes to draw cartoons. I've got a boyfriend named Chad; he makes me smile. He also gives the best hugs ever, (along with Grandma Keller, of course) and is all-together wonderful. I've also got some of the most amazing friends in the world, who help me laugh and find joy in every part of my life.
I love Disney movies and Disneyland. I like to walk in the sand at the beach even when it burns the bottom of my feet. I love getting caught up in good movies, and forgetting what time of day or night it is. I love movie previews that make you forget what movie you originally went to go see. I think I am the best marshmallow-roaster in the world. I will listen to Christmas music any time of the year. I love all chocolate and most candy. I can be a picky eater, but cereal and peanut-butter chicken are my favorite foods. Baking puts me in a good mood, and I love public speaking. I am an Angel's fan, and I like being barefoot, listening to and imitating accents, watching old films, standing in the rain without an umbrella, and dancing like a fool.
I love my life.
