As a DJ in the clubs for over 10 years, and on Z103.5 FM for over 5 years, DJ Danny D has come to be known as "The People's DJ." His genuine love of music lends to his success as a DJ. As Eye Weekly's Reader's Choice Award recipient for best DJ in Toronto for 2004, Danny's artistic versatility, ingenuity and authenticity contribute greatly to the development of his own unique sound. Now he has taken that sound into music production. With his first hit "Airbreak", the follow up "Road Rage" and his third single "I Believe in Love" (featuring the beautiful vocals of Anya), Danny has combined elements of house, trance and progressive music to create these chart topping tracks. Now, with his fourth single "Emotions" (featuring incredible vocals from Nova), Danny shows his diversity by creating an Arabic Progressive Trance track. Both his first 2 singles cracked the Top 20 on the Canadian National Club Chart, and all 3 tracks have appeared on compilations selling more than 50,000 copies. "Emotions" is available on the Streetmix 2K7 CD, in stores as of Oct 31, 2006. Hey Danny,
Good luck on the Fanatics tonight! I gave my dad (Alf De Blasis) a crash course on some of your songs yesterday so if he drops a few mentions, you know why :D He asked me if I knew who you were and I promptly threw in a CD and made him listen to a few songs.
