Pierre Belleville est l'actuel batteur du groupe de rock Lofofora.
Né le 10 Juillet 1978 à Amiens, il grandi dans une famille artistique (cirque, danse, théâtre).Il débute la batterie dès 7 ans, age auquel il intègre lécole Dante Agostini dOrléans. Il y étudiera linstrument pendant 10 ans, sous laile des professeurs Dominique DEVERGE et Jean BRISSARD.
Parallèlement à son apprentissage, Pierre ne néglige pas le travail de groupe puisqu'il va jouer dans de nombreuses formations aussi bien rock, que funk, ou jazz : cest de là que va naître son goût pour le métissage des styles musicaux. Autant dinfluences qui viendront étoffer son jeu.En 1995 il effectue une année de perfectionnement au CMCN. Cest aux côtés des batteurs professionnels Franck AGHULON, Patrick BUCHMANN, André CHARLIER, Alain GOZZO, ou encore Félix SABALECO, quil va réellement apprendre le métier de musicien.A 18 ans, Pierre commence à enseigner la batterie à la Rock School de Bordeaux.
Durant ces 4 ans passés sur Bordeaux, il jouera dans plusieurs groupes de hardcore et métal dont ASGARD avec lequel il enregistrera un 5 titres distribué par Tripsichord et fera sa première tournée française.
A lissue de cette riche période de création, il intègre le groupe YO ! PIZZA JUMP pour une tournée au Canada et lenregistrement de leur 2ème album.En 2000, le batteur Dirk Verbeuren le contacte pour le remplacer au sein du groupe de métal français ARTSONIC (signé par WEA).
Avec eux, il effectuera deux tournées françaises et participera à lenregistrement de leur 3ème album « Fashion Victim ». Cette expérience est pour lui significative car cest la confirmation quune réelle carrière souvre à lui.En 2002, le manager du groupe LOFOFORA le contacte. Lenjeu est de taille car il a 5 jours pour apprendre le répertoire ! Tout va aller très vite puisque deux semaines plus tard, il joue sur la grande scène des Eurockéennes de Belfort !
Lexpérience sera déterminante, car peu après le groupe lengage et part s'enfermer en studio pour produire son 4ème album « Le Fond et la Forme », sorti en janvier 2003 (signé par M10). La nouvelle formation prend la route pour une tournée dune centaine de dates en France, Belgique et Suisse.Janvier 2005, Lofofora retourne en studio pour lenregistrement de leur tout dernier album « Les choses qui nous dérangent » sorti le 11 Avril chez Athome, auquel sest enchaîné une nouvelle tournée à travers toute la France ainsi que le Canada.Pierre a travaillé cette année sur lenregistrement de deux albums : celui dune jeune chanteuse "Olivia Baume" (label AZ) dont la sortie est prévue pour la rentrée, et plus récemment le dernier opus du groupe bordelais Plug-in.Il vient de terminer lenregistrement de lalbum de DESTRUCTION INCORPORATED, projet avec Shanka, guitariste de No One Is Innocent et Bastien Burger à la basse (ex Madjik).
Il prévoit également l'enregistrement des prochains albums des groupes ETHS et NO ONE IS INNOCENT.A 27 ans, Pierre Belleville est un musicien épanoui et ambitieux.
Comme il a toujours tenu son objectifs : senrichir des genres actuels comme des plus anciens tout en restant ouvert à la diversité des styles
Il est aujourdhui fortement investit dans différents projets musicaux et cette ouverture fait de lui un batteur complet.C.G_________________________________________________
___________Pierre Belleville is the current drummer of the French rock-metal band: Lofofora. Born on July 10, 1978 in Amiens, he grew up in an artistic family (circus, dance, theatre).
He started drumming at 7 years old, age into which he integrates the Dante Agostini school of Orleans. He studied the instrument there during 10 years, under the wing of teachers Dominique DEVERGE and Jean BRISSARD.
Concurrently to his training, Pierre does not neglect the band..s work, as he will play different groups, rock'n'roll, funk, or jazz: it is from there that his taste for the crossbreeding of the musical styles will be born, as many influences that will fill his playing.In 1995, he carried out one year of improvement at the CMCN, and it..s at the professional drummers like Franck AGHULON, Patrick BUCHMANN, Andre CHARLIER, Alain GOZZO, or Felix SABALECO..s sides, that he will really learn the profession of musician.
At 18 years old, Pierre taught the drum in the Rock'n'roll School of Bordeaux. During these 4 years, he played in several bands of hardcore and metal like ASGARD with which he recorded 5 CD titles distributed by Tripsichord and made his first French tour.At the end of this rich period of creation, he integrated the band YO! PIZZA JUMP for a Canadian tour and the recording of their 2nd album.In 2000, the drummer Dirk Verbeuren contacted Pierre to replace him within the French metal band ARTSONIC (signed by WEA). With them, he carried out two French tours and took part in the recording of their 3rd album ..Fashion Victim... This experience for him was significant because it was the confirmation that a real career opened up to him.In 2002, the manager of the famous French metal band LOFOFORA contacted him. The stake was serious because he had 5 days to learn all the repertory! All went very quickly seeing that two weeks later, he will play on the big stage of the Belfort Eurockéennes festival! Experience which will determines his next step: shortly after, the group engaged him and left to locked up themselves in studio to produce the 4th album ..Le fond et la Forme.., which came out in January 2003 (signed by M10). This new formation took to the road for a hundred date..s tour in France, Belgium and Switzerland.January 2005, the band Lofofora returned in studio for the recording of their very last album ..Les choses qui nous dérangent.. which came out on April 11 on the record label Athome. A new tour was beginning throughout France and Canada.Pierre works today on several studio projects. He has just finished the recording of two albums: one with a young singer ..Olivia Baume.. (label AZ) whose release is planned for autumn, and more recently, the last opus of the Bordeaux..s band, Plug-in.He has just finish the recording of his new band DESTRUCTION INCORPORATED project with Shanka, the guitarist of ..No One Is Innocent.. and the bassist, Bastien burger (ex Madjik) ..
He will soon start the recording of the next albums of the bands ETHS and NO ONE IS INNOCENT.
At 28 years old, Pierre Belleville is an outgoing and ambitious musician. He always held his objectives: to grow rich by the current kinds of music, as the older ones, while keeping open at diversity of styles..
