My life is as ever-changing as the ocean. New phases fade in and out, and with each come new people, new aspirations, and new perspectives. As for the current one, I’m at a point where I rarely concern myself with the past or future. First, I love school. I love what I’m studying and I love the amazing people that I’ve been blessed with meeting. Second, I’m done with the drama that, even though I intended to avoid at all times, has crept into my life. I’m done letting things bother me. I’m done relying on flaky people. I’m done disliking people. I’d like to think I’m easy going, but I do expect people to take the time to care. I want to live, laugh, and love with an open mind and an open heart, and go every place that I go and do everything that I do with all of my heart. Third, I intend to sit back and enjoy the things that I am passionate about – traveling, photography, music, and the Atlantic Ocean. I also intend to enjoy innumerable moments of happiness with the people I love. All of you know who you are. Though I don’t let myself be consumed with it, I do have an abstract plan for the future – to travel the world and live in all sorts of different places, learn the language and about the culture, and meet hundreds or thousands of incredible people, photographing everything and leaving each person and place with a piece of my heart.
