I like that I'm gullible. Just don't be fooled by it.

About Me

13 THINGS ABOUT ME: 1. I'm always in favor of the underdog. 2. I have a terrible weakness for reality TV...I find it unbelievably entertaining and hysterical! 3. I don't know how to cook, and I wish to heck I did 'cause I don't want to take my future kids out to eat for every meal. 4. I married a chef! 5. I love most any kind of art process...there's just something so inexplicably fulfilling about finally setting something down to look at that I've created and completed with my own imagination and hands...I try to make gifts instead of buy them when I have time. 6. I was inspired to be in my profession by an older gentleman whom I met at a folk school (for arts and trades) who used to be a successful lawyer, but was left severely cognitively impaired after an auto-accident...for a week we ate every breakfast, lunch and dinner together (in silence), and he would play songs on the piano for me (a skill he had learned before his accident) by memory! I drew a portrait of him and framed it for my home to mark his significant impression in my life. 7. My feet don't match...they're the same size, but my toes on each foot are totally different from each other. I think this is what caused...8. My obsession with feet: I really like feet, and don't mind looking at or touching other folks' feet (you all know there are those out there that absolutely freakin' freak out if someone's feet touch them or get near them....I'm not one of "those")...in undergrad art school, when I was asked to create a self-portrait in a drawing class, I made my feet the main event! 9. I leave long-ass messages on answering machines and voicemails. I know I do this and that it drives folks crazy...I start out trying to be conscious about leaving something brief and succinct, but then I keep going and going.... 10. I am very open-minded.....I know that's cliche, but it's absolutely true. One cannot be in my profession and believe they have it all figured out or have stiff, rigid beliefs. I'm comfortable with oddities, normalcies, uncertainties...I welcome and respect others' thoughts, feelings, and choices of religion, lifestyle practice, sexuality...as long as it does not put themselves or others in harm's way. 11. I like things to be fair, and it's frustrating for me because most of the time they're not. 12. While I may be outgoing 1:1 through about 1:5, I am completely anxious and feel awkward and uncomfortable in very large groups......therefore, I do not really like big parties or busy bar scenes. Some may think I really missed out in college ('cause I didn't do much of that kind of thing), but I had (and mostly still do) the best group of friends a person could ask for! 13. I never brush my hair.

Books:

reading is an escape for me, and I find I rarely need to escape. i do, however like artistic/craft instructional books, and books about or related to psychology.
