About Me

A short time after a fairly average high school experience in West Deptford, Brennan Jordan went away to college at the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey in wonderful pine barrens of Pomona NJ. After one night of drinking heavily and wandering off into the woods, Brennan was confronted by the non other than the Jersey Devil himself. The devil had been down on his luck. He was incognito earlier that night so he could gamble at the casinos in Atlantic City. He lost all his money on the tables and was searching desperately for a drink to numb away his pain and forget. Brennan gave him the rest of the whiskey left in his flask in exchange for blues fame. It was only after sobering up, he realized, he didn't really liked the blues, so he threw down his electric guitar he used in high school for his really bad punk music, picked up an acoustic and started playing weird folk music instead... maybe that's what he mumbled to the devil, "I want weird acoustic folky sort of music fame..." oh well he couldn't remember. Anyway kids... the moral of the story is... when drinking in strange areas that may be inhabited by magical creatures, always have some whiskey on hand. After that crazy life in undergrad.... Brennan moved with his friends to the city of Philadelphia. He drank himself stupid more nights than he can count. He had a number of crazy experiences and met more interesting people than he could count on his fingers and toes. Surprisingly, it took moving to the city to help him embrace his love of folk music. He started writing for a new cd over a year after "Our Last Year"... and the rest is to be determined.
